Pushkar Sane, co-founder and CEO at Convergination Ventures sees three key trends in Asia Pacific this year.

1. Tablets will play an increasingly important role particularly with cloud-based entertainment on the go.
2. Consumers will increasingly opt out of social apps due to spam across different social platforms.
3. Data mining will be in demand as clients continue to be bombarded with data dumb. They will look for companies that will provide data intelligence that is meaningful for their businesses.
